Need it now? Call usA garage door that slams shut in Ontario has lost the spring tension that controls its descent — a serious safety issue we treat as urgent.
There's a local angle to a garage door slams shut in Ontario: the area's coastal salt air and inland heat is hard on garage doors — salt air corrodes hardware, and inland heat strains openers. Our Ontario techs see these failures spike around every late-summer heat wave, so they track down the real cause instead of masking the symptom.
