A loud bang from the garage in McAllen is the unmistakable sound of a torsion spring snapping. The door will likely feel very heavy or refuse to open.

Why does this keep happening in McAllen? A lot of it comes down to the local climate. Heat and Gulf humidity takes its toll — humidity rusts springs & cables, and storm season batters doors — so a loud bang from the garage is one of the more common calls our McAllen crews run.
