A garage door that won't stay closed in Hialeah is usually a sensor or limit-setting issue telling the opener to reverse. It's typically a quick adjustment.

Why does this keep happening in Hialeah? A lot of it comes down to the local climate. Heat and humidity takes its toll — humidity corrodes hardware, and falling limbs dent panels — so a garage door won't stay closed is one of the more common calls our Hialeah crews run.

What might be wrong

Common causes when your garage door won't stay closed

Here's what our local techs check first — and what each one usually means.

Close-limit set too high

If the opener thinks the floor is higher than it is, it reverses.

Sensitive or misaligned sensors

Touchy photo-eyes can send the door back up.

A bad logic board

Occasionally the opener's board misreads the door position.

How we fix it

Fixed fast by a local Hialeah pro

We tune the limits and sensors, test the logic board, and confirm the door stays sealed.
